The Legacy for LS Parks Foundation was proud to host a ribbon cutting ceremony recognizing the Foundation's membership with the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce. The event was held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the new outdoor pavilion space at Gamber Community Center. The pavilion upgrades were made possible through a $27,000 grant to LSPR from the Foundation, and include a new pergola, water feature, upgraded landscaping, furniture and lighting.
The project is an excellent example of the support the Foundation can provide to enhance the recreational opportunities and amenities for Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation.
